This a presentation I gave to a group of international Bachelor’s students in sustainability, including responses to their great questions. It assumes no previous knowledge of Integral Theory and goes into some detail about Spiral Dynamics.
Good video and worth watching as an intro. The spiral dynamics descriptions fall into stereotypes though.
Some attributes attributed to yellow, are really a description of sophisticated blue thinking, since development occurs linearly as well as vertically.
Thanks Uri. Yes, people often confuse Yellow with Blue while they are entering Yellow. That is because Yellow’s focus in natural order resonates to some extent with Blue’s focus on order and structure. This is particularly the case when Green may have undermined the useful Blue order in an individual or collective.
