Science and Consciousness 2026: Wyrd Psi

Since its inaugural event in 2021, the annual Science and Consciousness conference has devoted itself to bridging the gap between scientific research and consciousness experiences that can’t be explained by mainstream theories.

We’re excited to announce a partnership with Psi Games for this year’s event. The Psi Games are a new tournament held for the first time in 2025 and designed to explore and celebrate the full spectrum of psychic abilities. On each of the three central days we will be exploring one of the three main experiences of consciousness:

• the non-local acquisition of information, extra-sensory perception (ESP), divination
• the non-local influencing of the world around us, psychokinesis (PK), enchantment
• contact with non-local entities, theurgy

The morning of each day we will hear from leading academic researchers about their findings in each domain. In the first half of the afternoon we will all have the opportunity to try out some of the practices associated with psi success. In the second half of the afternoon we will have the Psi Games Experience where practitioners will demonstrate their abilities and participants will have the opportunity to compete in a number of practices. Prizes will be awarded for the best-performing participants!

Featuring talks and discussions with the world’s top scientists, academics and practitioners in the field of consciousness studies and real-time experiments that everyone is invited to take part in, participants come away with a real sense of what in Anglo-Saxon terms was referred to as ‘wyrd’; an inherent understanding of our deep interconnection with the world around us.

Key activities will be enhanced with Monroe Sound Science to support exploration of consciousness through a combination of sound techniques, including binaural beats, frequency, amplitude, phase modulation, and more. Today, Monroe utilize more than 50 different techniques for creating sound frequencies designed to assist listeners to rapidly move into targeted beneficial states of expanded awareness.

The conference builds on the work of Professor Robert Jahn and Brenda Dunne, Princeton scientists who dedicated almost thirty years to exploring our ability to affect the world around us with our consciousness. Their findings illustrated how deeply interconnected we are at the informational energetic level, and how we can interact outside of the standard parameters of time and space.

In other words, they empirically showed what ancient wisdom traditions have long stated; that interconnectedness with the world around us is a fact. The survival of humankind depends on our ability to learn this for ourselves.

The beautiful Broughton Sanctuary, where the event takes place, is now home to the equipment used in these experiments. You can explore this equipment for yourself, as well as taking the time to experience deep nature-connection through the use of Broughton’s facilities. The 2,500-acre Estate contains wildflower meadows, woodland, a vast nature-recovery program, a labyrinth, fire temple, Wellbeing Center and much more!
